Research Comment by Wanda Hunter Day: The license indicates "Conscent of parrents of Ginna personally given." However, to date, I have not located a copy of the marriage consent.1 
Marriage*6 April 1843Jane Baker married Andrew Bishop, son of William Bishop and Sarah Burns, on 6 April 1843 in Clay County, Kentucky. Minister's return, written on back of license, transcribed by Wanda Hunter Day: "Executed by me Aprill 6th 1843 Levi B. Hunt."1 
Residence*3 January 1896 Jane Baker lived 2 miles east of Kingston, Madison County, Kentucky on 03 January 1896. Deposition by Mrs. Jennie [Jane] Bishop, 03 January 1896, transcribed by Wanda Hunter Day: "I am 70 years of age and reside with my son George Bishop 2 mi East of Kingston KY. I have known claimant and pensioner Wm. B. Bishop for about 54 years. He was a brother of my husband Andy Bishop and lived near us before the war."3 
Death*after 1 June 1900 Conclusion by Wanda Hunter Day: Jane Baker died after 01 Jun 1900,* the official enumeration date for the 1900 census. She was enumerated in the 1900 census as Jinney Bishop in the household of son William Bishop. I have found no additional records for Jane Baker after this census.4,5 [*Although the census taker recorded the household on 12 Jun 1900, official instructions were to enumerate the household as it existed on 01 Jun 1900.]
